Dr. Ram Gurung, announced that the telemedicine service would begin next week. The service will allow Nepali citizens in South Korea to consult with doctors from various departments, including Medicine, Dentistry, Dermatology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Gynecology, Psychiatry, and Pediatrics. This initiative is expected to ease the healthcare challenges faced by Nepali expatriates in South Korea.

Dr. Balram Malla, highlighted the importance of the service, noting that many Nepali citizens in South Korea are hesitant to discuss their health issues due to language barriers. The telemedicine service will bridge this gap by offering consultations in Nepali, ensuring that patients can communicate their concerns effectively.

The Nepali citizens can access the service by contacting Dhulikhel Hospital at +977-9801002403 or the NRNA South Korea helpline at +82-01048484923. The cost for each telemedicine consultation has been set at 300 rupees. Additionally, the first 100 patients will receive free consultations, courtesy of NRNA South Korea.

This collaborative effort marks a significant step towards improving the health and well-being of Nepali citizens living abroad, providing them with the necessary support and care through modern telemedicine technology.
